Oh, how we love Burgundy and all the charming French villages, beautiful rolling vineyards, gorgeous grand chateaus, exceptional wine, delicious food, and very kind locals. I could go on and on.  My husband and I plan quite a few “winecations.” Some of our favorites have been Slovenia, South Africa, Portugal, and of course the Burgundy wine region! La Maison de Pommard is an incredibly charming 5-bedroom boutique hotel right in the heart of the quaint town of Pommard. We stayed here for our Burgundy getaway and loved it! The owner, Isabelle, is a winemaker’s daughter who renovated the historic building into a boutique hotel with contemporary touches.

Hostellerie de Levernois is a beautiful 5-star hotel with luscious tree-lined grounds. The 27 bedrooms all have their own unique character and are spread out among three buildings. Although we didn’t stay here, we did enjoy a fantastic dinner at their 1-star Michelin restaurant, La Table de Levernois (#10 on our top things to do in Burgundy!).

Frédéric Doucet grew up at Maison Doucet, a beautiful family home turned into a charming Inn and restaurant by his parents. He inherited the Inn and renovated it into a beautiful 17-bedroom boutique hotel. Customer reviews rave about the exceptional warm hospitality of the hotel staff.

Wow, Château de Melin B&B offers a lot of history! This castle, yes, I said castle was built in the 16th century. Its current owners completely restored it and turned it into a boutique hotel with 5 elegant bedrooms that blend old-world charm with contemporary touches.
